Actors Poll 2009 Edition - Part II - CLOSED

Postby Ally » Wed Sep 09, 2009 3:23 pm

Other parts to the Actors Poll:
Part I
Part III

How to Participate:
Submit a list of your favorite performances of all-time by an actor or actress (with a limit of one actor's performance per list). The real test will come down to who impresses us with their actual acting abilities!

Point System
1-10: 3 points each
11-20: 2 points each
21-30: 1 point each
31-40 = .5, 41-50 = .25
51-? = .05

Rules:
1) Please submit the name of the actor and the name of the movie of their best performance. Let's say you can't name just one and you list Sean Connery in First Knight and all of the James Bond movies. That is fine, but please list all the performances together and not in separate tiers (example below).
2) Please do not number your picks, if at all possible. Please list them in different tiers, in sets of tens.
3) There is no minimum. You can list only one if you like. There is no maximum, however, everything over 30 will be awarded miniscule points: (so eat your heart out).

Deadline: OCTOBER 31, 2009

EXAMPLE

Favorite Performances List

Tier One
ANTHONY HOPKINS: Silence of the Lambs (Hannibal Lecter)
JODIE FOSTER: Nell, Maverick, Sommersby

You do not need to list the character name or more than one performance. But you can. If you have already listed Anthony Hopkins in your favorite performance, you cannot list another favorite performance in another tier. Any questions, post below.

*The results will be combined with Part I of the actors poll, unless there is a great protest.

OMG, Cypheron, excellent list. This performance idea was pretty much an afterthought, but I'm glad people are able to come up with some great picks and you're leading the way. Thanks!!

Wont bother making a list, no good at it - but i must say all the love for DDL from There Will be Blood is a bit weary - considering he was basically just a pantomime villain
